How many commercial brands do toddlers recognise?
My daughter isn’t 2 yet, and clearly can recognise images and logos like Coca-Cola, KFC, McDonald’s, Disney, Nike etc.
Has anyone tried to put a number on how many brands the average 2 year old recognises?
No she doesn’t drink fizzy drinks, but she recognises what they are, but thankfully doesn’t like them. I also don’t give her crap like KFC, but sadly her grandmother does whenever I’m not there to stop her!
My daughter (3 and a half) calls all brown soda Pepsi (her dad drinks it), she knows Dora, Diego, The Princesses… all the little girl toys
As a funny story: (this happened yesterday!) The apartment complex where we live is behind a Krystal’s (fast food restaurant). We don’t eat there much, but pass it almost everyday. We were on the other side of town, and we passed another Krystal’s, and my daughter asked if we were at home. She recognized the sign as the same one from outside out neighborhood.
